So its another year at Pax and the show is changing it’s bigger than ever and its not just about the game dev’s and table top gamers the hardware guys re getting into it and the retail shops have the biggest booths I don’t know if we need or even want retail shops like Harvey Norman at Pax and the price slashing PC parts shops like MSY are taking up space that I would like see game developers fill. I get that they pay to be here but its something I don’t think people need to pay to see. if you want to see what Harvey Norman has walk into any shop its free! Having some of the hardware guys showing off some of their new gaming kit like Kingston Tech is a step in the right direction. This is the star of the show for me right now as far as hardware is the HyperX Alloy FPS Mechanical Gaming Keyboard I will talk more about it later.
Thermaltake have a booth full of case mods and the star of the show is this Darth Vader TIE Fighter (Advanced TIE Fighter) not a lot of new stuff to show off but its good to see them supporting the modding community in Australia. still lots to see so I’m off to clock up another 8k steps! At this rate I will not have to workout for a week.. ( for that to be true I need 58k steps to work off my fat ass) 😉
